"SS" Super Sport Series Flame Arrestor For MerCruiser 454/502 Magnum MPI Hardin Marine and K&N Engineering have teamed up to bring you an affordable entry level performance filter/flame arrestor kit that bolts directly to your Mercury Magnum series engine throttle body. The expanding shape of this intake assures increased air speed, something that block-like aluminum adapters can't do. Just clamp on the K&N flame arrestor and you're ready to go. Serpentine and V-Belt Engine Compatible. Note: These clamp-on filter/flame arrestors have limitations to their air flow capability. The filter element can only support enough air flow for approximately 500 horsepower. Includes the mounting bolts.
