13 Plate Remote Cooler Assembly

This multi plate design oil cooler assembly is used in virtually every severe duty type of oil cooling environment found today. Recognized by Mercury Racing and every high profile professional engine builder as the most effective method to control oil temperature. The 8, 13, and plate oil cooler design offers maximum heat dissipation in the most compact size and use of space. This is basically the same cooler package that's incorporated into a dual cooler style of race bellhousing. Now you can have the same great cooling features in a remote mountable unit. The cast aluminum housing features a hard anodized finish for corrosion resistance. Each housing has 1" NPT water inlets/outlets and a dual bolt mounting flange and will accept a 8, or 13 plate cooler assembly when used with the appropriate cover assembly.

Length 11-3/4", Height 5", and depth based on the 13 plate configuration is 5-3/4".

These oil coolers, covers, and kits are required for use when a plate style oil cooler is used with a Hardin Marine or Mercury Racing flywheel housing. We offer multiple styles in both cast 356-T6 aluminum or 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Each cover is hard anodized for corrosion resistance.

Once again these kits are designed for your ordering convenience. Each kit consists of a single oil cooler, billet jam nuts, bolts and gaskets.

Each housing has 1" NPT water inlets and outlets plus a dual-bolt mounting flange and will accept a 8,13 or 15 plate cooler assembly when used with the appropriate cover assembly. 8 Plate Cooler rated up to 900 HP.

Each housing has 1" NPT water inlets and outlets plus a dual-bolt mounting flange and will accept a 8,13 or 15 plate cooler assembly when used with the appropriate cover assembly.

Combination Engine Oil & Power Steering Or Transmission Cooler, 2" Diameter, 19" Overall Length, 3/8" NPT P/S and 3/4" NPT Oil Connections, 1-1/4" Water Connection

All the same features as our other coolers except it is designed as a MerCruiser replacement cooler for the most common V8 engines. The only noticeable difference is the use of 3/4" NPT oil connections providing a higher volume flow capacity.

Note: Never use small than a 3/4" NPT oil connection on engine coolers.
