Here are a few of the key features that the Keith Eickert Dual Cooler Flywheel Housings offer. The traditional water crossover feature that caused so many problems (factory style bellhousings) with delivering enough water to the opposite engine side coolers has been eliminated. Torsional strengthening ribs have been added for unmatched strength and durability. This is a common failure point in a factory style bellhousing on high horsepower applications. Now the water is transferred through a 1-1/4" stainless transfer tube crossover system allowing complete unrestricted water flow to the oil cooler chambers. The improved water flow and cooling features don't stop there, the best part is the convenience of so many plumbing options from the top, bottom or back side for single or dual pass cooling options. The flywheel housing is cast from 356-T6 aluminum and heat treated prior to CNC machining, next each unit is hardcoat anodized for maximum corrosion resistance. This multi plate design oil cooler assembly is used in virtually every severe
duty type of oil cooling environment found today. Recognized by Mercury Racing
and every high profile professional engine builder as the most effective method
to control oil temperature. The 8, 13, and plate oil cooler design offers
maximum heat dissipation in the most compact size and use of space. This is
basically the same cooler package that's incorporated into a dual cooler style
of race bellhousing. Now you can have the same great cooling features in a
remote mountable unit. The cast aluminum housing features a hard anodized finish
for corrosion resistance. Each housing has 1" NPT water inlets/outlets and a
dual bolt mounting flange and will accept a 8, or 13 plate cooler assembly when
used with the appropriate cover assembly.
Length 11-3/4", Height 5", and depth based on the 13 plate configuration is

At last an answer to the restriction problem commonly caused by pipe threadstyle fittings with a plate style cooler. A standard pipe thread fittinguses the internal threads of the cooler while drastically reducing the orificesize severely limiting flow and volume.
These new billet AN adapter cooler fittings provide two distinctfeatures. First these fittings attach to the external threads of thecoolers inlet and outlets providing 100% unrestricted oil flow and secondly theytake the place of the steel locking jam nuts providing a positive o-ring sealeliminating those old leaking corroded steel nuts.
